Joelle and Maik - Proposal in Ladies Pavilion, Central Park

Maik’s proposal to Joelle was full of surprise and heart. She arrived in New York as a tourist, completely unaware that he would be coming too to propose. We originally planned a romantic moment on a boat, but when the weather turned, I quickly pivoted to Plan B: a covered spot surrounded by nature that still offered beauty and intimacy. Thanks to solid backup plan and seamless coordination, the change didn’t affect the magic of the moment. With live saxophone music playing and Maik appearing out of nowhere, Joelle was overwhelmed—in the best way—and screamed in delight at the unforgettable surprise.
